The Hariyali Cooperative offers shared-use tea production facilities to help local small farmers produce their teas for wider distribution. It is dedicated to natural farming practices, and advancing Nepal to a status beyond being a supplier for Indian tea production; the goal being to ultimately have Nepalese tea on the global map.
Baby Amber Red is a once-roasted red tea; after the oxidation process which darkens the color of the leaves, the tea leaves are roasted to reduce bitterness and caffeine.
This tea tastes like what the bag of English Breakfast tea in the supermarket thinks it tastes like. The flavor is like the pinnacle of a morning tea: bright and pleasantly bitter, with light berry notes and a lovely brothiness.
