Event Request

Use the form below to get in contact with Connor, the owner and founder, to set up a large-group tea service at a wedding, party, or other event. There are three main formats for tea service at a large event:

Cash Bar-Style Service: In the style of the pop-ups you may find around Pittsburgh, a tea bar capable of serving up to 10 people at once is set up. Gong Fu service is performed at a rate of $5 per tea per person. The service of one tea lasts about 15 minutes. Payment is collected from guests in advance.

Open Bar-Style Service: In the same style as above, but an up-front cost is borne by the event organizer. Rather than guests paying individually for their tea service, a rate of $50 per hour is charged in advance, and guests are free to drink as much tea as they please.

Grandpa Pot Service: "Grandpa Style" refers to allowing tea to steep for a long time in a large pot, similar to western-style brewing, but the tea leaves are never removed; hot water is poured over them to refresh the steep when the tea gets too low. One tea can serve a grandpa pot for about an hour at an event before it will begin to lose its taste. Grandpa pot pricing is determined based on which teas you would like at your event, with a base cost of $20 per hour for a server to be present and maintain the teas' freshness.
