This white tea made using warm air drying on large leaf tea promises to age well - I may have to hide some away to let it age.
The aroma of the dry leaves is a warming, confectionary smell - it reminds me of the candied pecans you find in a Buc-ee's. When you add boiling water, it gains a sharp sweetness with the candied pecans underneath it all.
As a fresh white tea, the flavor is simple and pleasant. My first tasters found it calmed them to drink, and we found that the longer it steeps, the initial crispness fades off and is replaces by a warming flavor with a tangy sweet aftertaste.
